VISIONS OF ATLANTIS - "Old Routes - New Waters"
El baterista y fundador Thomas Caser está acompañado por los cantantes –Siegfried Samer y Clémentine Delauney, y los recuperados Chris Kamper a los teclados, Werner Fiedler a la guitarra y Mike Koren al bajo.
El 16 de Octubre se lanzará “The Great Lie”, el nuevo álbum del proyecto opera metal MELTED SPACE, del compositor francés Pierre le Pape. El trabajo cuenta con una larga lista de invitados incluyendo miembros de MORBID ANGEL, MAYHEM. DARK TRANQUILLITY, ORPHANED LAND, SHINING, AYREON y SIRENIA, entre otros, sin olvidar la participación de La Filarmónica de la Ciudad de Praga. Ya podemos escuchar el primer corte del álbum “The Great Lie”. La canción elegida es “No Need To Fear” y cuenta con la participación de Mariangela Demurtas (TRISTANIA), Guillaume Bideau (MNEMIC), Christine Rhoades (MEDDLING GRETEL, David Vincent (MORBID ANGEL), Attila Csihar (MAYHEM), Mikael Stanne (DARK TRANQUILITY), Arno Strobl (WE ALL DIE), Clémentine Delauney (VISION OF ATLANTIS), Virginie Goncalves (KELLS) y Lucie Blatrier (MELTED SPACE).
SERIOUS BLACK es la nueva banda del guitarrista Roland Grapow (MASTERPLAN, ex HELLOWEEN), el baterista Thomen Stauch (ex BLIND GUARDIAN), el cantante Urban Breed (ex TAD MOROSE, BLOODBOUND), Mario Lochert (bajo, ex VISIONS OF ATLANTIS), Dominik Sebastian (guitarrista, EDENBRIDGE) y Jan Vacik (tecladista y orquestación, ex DREAMSCAPE).
Su debut discográfico será "As Daylight Breaks", un álbum que será editado por AFM Records el 16 de enero de 2015.
SERIOUS BLACK insiste en que es una banda y no un proyecto, que curiosamente tomó forma en un verano en España, cuando Roland Grapow y Mario Lochert tuvieron una conversación en el backstage hablando del negocio musical y Mario tuvo la idea de unir a seis miembros expertos en sus instrumentos en una sola formación. Posteriormente, en Munich, Mario contactó con su amigo Thomen Stauch y poco a poco se fueron uniendo los demás componentes.

El trabajo ha sido producido por Fabio D’Amore (bajista de SERENITY) e Ivan Moni Bidin en los estudios Artesonika de Pordenone, Italia. El masterizado se ha realizado en los estudios finlandeses Finnvox con Mikka Jussila.
VISIONS OF ATLANTIS grabaron para un futuro DVD la actuación que ofrecieron el pasado 23 de octubre en el festival belga Metal Female Voices Fest.
